Refund policy
Lazy Beanz Refund & Returns Policy
At Lazy Beanz, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of every item we create. Many of our products are made to order with care and attention to detail.
Please read our returns and refunds policy carefully before purchasing. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
🚫 Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases where there is no fault with the product. This includes:
- Ordering the wrong size or style
- Deciding you no longer want the item
- Not reading the product details before purchasing
We encourage you to carefully review product specifications, measurements, fabric selections and other product information before placing your order. If you are unsure about a product or need help making a selection, please contact us at info@lazybeanz.com.au before ordering.
✅ Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, defective or does not match the product description, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assess the issue and assist you.
Under the Australian Consumer Law, consumers have certain rights and guarantees that cannot be excluded. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy.
To help us assess your claim:
- Contact us at info@lazybeanz.com.au as soon as reasonably possible after receiving your order.
- Provide your order number and a brief description of the issue.
- Where possible, include clear photographs showing the fault, damage or incorrect item.
- Once reviewed, we will provide return instructions and, where required under Australian Consumer Law, arrange or reimburse reasonable return freight.
- Where a return is required, we may need to inspect the item before determining the appropriate remedy.
The remedy provided will depend on the nature and circumstances of the issue and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Custom & Made-to-Order Products
Due to the made-to-order nature of many of our products, including custom cushions and selected fabric options, we generally cannot accept returns simply because you have changed your mind or selected the wrong option.
However, this does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a custom or made-to-order product is faulty, defective, significantly different from its description, or otherwise does not meet the consumer guarantees that apply to it, you may be entitled to a remedy.
🧼 Used, Altered or Soiled Items
Where a return is requested for a change-of-mind reason, items must be returned in their original condition and must not have been used, altered, washed or soiled.
This condition does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law where the issue relates to a fault, defect or failure to meet a consumer guarantee.
Refunds
Where a refund is determined to be the appropriate remedy, it will be processed using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Refunds and other remedies will be provided in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and the circumstances of the issue.
Return Freight
For eligible faulty, damaged or incorrect items, once reviewed, we will provide return instructions and, where required under Australian Consumer Law, arrange or reimburse reasonable return freight.
For change-of-mind returns, where we have agreed to accept a return at our discretion, any applicable return freight costs may be the responsibility of the customer.
Questions Before Ordering?
If you have any questions about a product, sizing, fabric selection, custom cushions or your order before purchasing, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're happy to help ensure you choose the right product for your space.

Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
