Are Lazy Beanz products Australian made?
Yes. Our Lazy Beanz range and custom upholstery projects are made in Queensland using carefully selected outdoor materials.
Are your products suitable outdoors?
Yes. We use durable outdoor fabrics selected for Australian conditions. For the longest life, keep products under cover when not in use and follow the care label.
Do bean bags arrive filled?
Most bean bags and ottomans are sold as covers only unless the product page states otherwise. Covers can be shipped Australia-wide; filled products and foam orders are generally limited to South East Queensland delivery or confirmed local collection.
How much filling do I need?
- Adult Bean Bag: approximately 400–450L
- Kids Bean Bag: approximately 150–200L
- Large Round Ottoman: approximately 300–350L
- Small Ottoman: approximately 90–100L
Can I order custom cushions or upholstery?
Yes. We make custom outdoor cushions, replacement covers, foam, caravan cushions, marine upholstery, bench seating and commercial upholstery. Request a quote with your measurements and photos.
Orders & Delivery
Where do you ship?
We ship suitable products Australia-wide. New Zealand shipping is available by freight quote; contact info@lazybeanz.com.au before ordering.
How long will my order take?
Ready-to-ship items are usually dispatched within 1–3 business days. Made-to-order products and custom projects generally require 2–4 weeks after payment or quote approval. We will contact you if a project requires longer.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Tracking is emailed after dispatch where the carrier provides tracking.
Can I collect my order?
Yes, from Unit 8, 11–17 Bremner Road, Rothwell QLD 4022. Collections must always be confirmed before arrival.
Returns & Warranty
Can I return a change-of-mind purchase?
Because many products are handmade or made to order, we generally do not accept change-of-mind returns. This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Please read our Refund Policy before ordering.
What if an item is faulty or arrives damaged?
Contact info@lazybeanz.com.au as soon as reasonably possible with your order number and a description of the issue. Where possible, include clear photos. These requests do not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. See our Refund & Returns Policy for the assessment and remedy process.
What fabric warranty comes with Lazy Beanz bean bags?
Eligible Lazy Beanz bean bags and ottomans have a 3-year top and side fabric warranty and a 10-year base fabric warranty against manufacturing defects under normal domestic use. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law also apply. Read the full warranty terms.

Family Sets & Handmade in Queensland
What is included in a Lazy Beanz family bean bag set?
Each family set includes the bean bag covers and the ottoman covers listed for that package. The Adult Trio and Family Mix include a choice of two small ottomans or one large round ottoman; the Ultimate Lounge includes three small ottomans or one large round ottoman. The Outdoor Duo starts with two small ottomans, with a priced upgrade to one large round. Select your exact combination in the family set builder. All covers are supplied unfilled unless specifically stated otherwise.
Who makes Lazy Beanz outdoor bean bags and cushions?
Siana and Brendan Cotton make Lazy Beanz outdoor bean bags, ottomans and custom cushions in their Rothwell, Queensland workshop. They bring more than 30 years of combined upholstery and sewing experience to the business. Read our story.
Can I choose different colours for each bean bag and ottoman?
Yes. On eligible family sets, the builder lets you mix and match available fabric colours for individual bean bags and ottomans. Small ottomans can be round or square. Check the options on the family set page before ordering.
Can Lazy Beanz replace outdoor cushion covers and foam?
Yes. We make replacement cushion covers, complete made-to-measure outdoor cushions and foam inserts for outdoor furniture, caravans, boats and other seating. Send your measurements, photos and fabric preferences through our custom cushion quote page.
