Warranty

3-Year Fabric Warranty

Lazy Beanz products are covered by a 3-year warranty against defects in fabric materials under normal domestic use conditions.

10-Year Base Warranty

Our furniture bases are covered by a 10-year structural warranty against manufacturing defects under normal domestic use.

Workmanship

All Lazy Beanz products are warranted against defects in workmanship, including stitching, seams, and construction, for the duration of the applicable warranty period.

Inclusions

  • Manufacturing defects in fabric and materials
  • Structural defects in the base or frame
  • Stitching and seam failures under normal use
  • Zipper defects (excluding damage from misuse)

Exclusions

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or accidents
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Fading due to prolonged UV exposure
  • Damage from improper cleaning methods
  • Commercial or hire use (unless covered under a separate commercial agreement)

Wear & Tear

Normal wear and tear, including gradual softening of EPS beans, minor surface pilling, and general ageing of materials, is not covered under warranty.

Fading

While our fabrics are UV-treated for outdoor use, prolonged direct sun exposure will cause gradual fading over time. Fading due to UV exposure is not covered under warranty. We recommend keeping products under cover when not in use.

Commercial Use

Warranty coverage applies to domestic use only. Commercial use, including hire, hospitality, and events, is excluded unless a separate commercial warranty agreement is in place. Please contact us to discuss commercial warranty options.

Claims Process

  1. Contact Lazy Beanz via our website with your order number and a description of the issue.
  2. Provide photos clearly showing the defect.
  3. Our team will assess your claim within 5 business days.
  4. If approved, we will arrange repair, replacement, or a suitable remedy at our discretion.

Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
